Our Sponsors

We are pleased to announce that the Ministry of Service of the Church of the Beatitudes has awarded our program with $3000.00 in grant funding!

Thank you Cortez Coffee Company and Coffee Reserve for the donation of empty coffee sacks. Soon, micro-enterprise participants will begin crafting recycled tote bags and other items for sale.

Thank you to Zia Records Exchange (19th Ave and Indian School Rd.) and Stinkweeds, for giving the WEP your old posters. They are being used to craft beautiful paper bead jewelry.

A big thank you, to Phyllis Gotsis, for the donation of a much-needed, floor loom!

Our thanks goes out to Ballet Arizona, for including the WEP in another Angel Night.

Thank you to Jim and Darlene Thompson, for your time and woodworking skills. We are so grateful to now have three new backstrap looms, a rug weaving frame, and an assembled floor loom and spinning wheel. You're the best!

Thank you also to Barbara Sudderth, for making this connection and transporting materials back and forth. Your initiative and consistent support of the program is appreciated.

See photos of Karen women weaving, in Thailand, using the traditional loom.
